Be prepared for your Live Scan
What documents do I need to bring?
- Two (2) request for live scan forms. Please fill them out prior to your appointment.
- Valid ID:
- Current California DMV driver’s license
- Current California ID card
- Current out-of-state driver’s license
- Current U.S. passport
If you do not have valid ID, please bring a photo ID with two valid supporting documents.
What payment options do you offer?
- All major credit cards
- Money order
- Cashier’s check payable to Mobile Live Scan or Cash
How should I prepare my hands?
- Please wash your hands prior to being scanned
- Do not use lotion—it can interfere with the live scan process
- For dryer hands, I have Corn Huskers lotion available
- For moist hands, I recommend holding a frozen water bottle or using rubbing alcohol right before your appointment
How long does the process take?
It only takes five to ten minutes to complete a live scan. Please relax and let us do the work. 😀
